Starbucks Serious Strawberry Frappuccino

Strawberry fans can get their berries and cream fix at Starbucks, now that the Serious Strawberry Frappuccino has been added to the permanent menu at locations across the country and Canada. The coffee chain is calling this fruity (and coffee-less) frapp its first “magenta” Frappuccino, according to a Starbucks press release. It looks like your summer just got a whole lot sweeter.

The Serious Strawberry Frappuccino starts out with a base of strawberry fruit puree. On top of the puree, there’s the signature Strawberries and Crème Frappuccino mixture — a blend of ice, milk and the Starbucks strawberry infusion blend. The new frapp is topped with another layer of swirled strawberry puree and vanilla whipped cream.

One of these non-caffeinated frapps will run you $4.95 for the smallest size and $5.45 for a 16-ounce Grande. The Serious Strawberry Frappuccino sounds like the perfect fruity and creamy drink to bring to all of your picnics this summer. You could even spike it with a little bit of fruity champagne for a boozy twist.
