But if you’re going to make the trip to Buffalo Wild Wings, you should know how to get your money’s worth.

If you download the Buffalo Wild Wings app, Blazin’ Rewards, you earn 50 bonus points right up front. Then, for every $10 you spend on food, you earn 100 points. If you check in with friends, you earn 10 more points. You also get to choose an item from the Rewards Roster, and the price of it will be deducted from your bill at the end of your dining experience.

Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, Buffalo Wild Wings’ “B-Dubs Fast-Break Lunch” lets you pick one entrée and one side. And if you don’t get your meal within 15 minutes of ordering it, your next “Fast-Break Lunch” will be free. (This is only for dine-in orders only.)

Order the party-sized boneless wings.

If you’re with a group of friends you know can house a bunch of chicken wings without hitting capacity, order the party-sized portion. The 50 boneless, all white-meat chicken wings come with a choice of two sauces, and you’ll end up saving about $0.40 per wing this way.

At certain locations of the wing chain, you’ll find specials like half-priced wing Tuesdays where the traditional wings are 50 percent off all day long. If you go with a friend, you can both get your favorite wings and then split them, all for the price of a single order.

 Ask for a wing sauce sampling.

We’re not saying that this will happen seamlessly at every location, but if you’re nice to your server, you might have some luck. When they sit you down, ask for the wing sauce sampling (you can sample up to six sauces) and they’ll bring you a basket of fries to test them out.

Do a beer sampling.

You miss 100 percent of the chances you don’t take, so try asking your server if you can sample a few beers before deciding what to drink. You should be able to sample three beers per person at no charge, so there’s really no excuse for ending up with a beer you don’t even like.
