Panera Bread’s Secret Menu Is The Healthiest One Yet

Panera Bread fans are a loyal bunch. If you’ve never scarfed down a bread bowl full of broccoli and cheddar soup, you’re missing out. We can’t say Panera Bread is necessarily healthy, but it gets the job done. And unlike a lot of secret menus from places like Shake Shack, In-N-Out and Five Guys, Panera Bread’s secret menu is breadless and protein-packed. Here’s what it looks like.

Power Breakfast Egg White Bowl With Roasted Turkey

For double the protein, ask for the power breakfast bowl with sliced roasted turkey, egg whites, warm baby spinach, roasted peppers and basil pesto. Who needs a coffee when egg whites and turkey are on the table? Well, we still need coffee, but you get the idea.

The Mediterranean bowl is a mixture of roasted turkey (or chicken), romaine lettuce, baby spinach, fresh tomatoes, red onions, kalamata olives, extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice.

Power Chicken Hummus Bowl

You’ll get both fiber and protein with Panera’s power chicken hummus bowl. Inside the healthy bowl, there’s chicken, cilantro-jalapeño hummus, baby spinach, diced tomatoes, chopped cucumber and red onion. On top, there’s a squeeze of lemon juice and fresh chopped cilantro.

Power Steak Lettuce Wraps

Instead of a steak sandwich, order the power steak lettuce wraps. It comes with seared top sirloin, lettuce for making the wraps, sliced cucumbers, diced onions and tomatoes. It’s all topped with lemon juice and basil pesto.

While the secret menu at Panera Bread might be more official than others, you can still feel like you’re in the know when you order any of these at the register. So go ahead and ditch the bread for a healthier and greener choice.
