What’s not to love about a good secret menu item? Ordering differently from your typical go-to can both shock your taste buds and your eating buddies to a whole new level of respect. However, though going off menu can feel exclusive and even exhilarating, sometimes all the combinations and weird twists can be hard to keep track of. Check out this list of 7 secret menu items you wish you knew about sooner to try on your next fast food outing.

1. Butterbeer Frappuccino at Starbucks

Hey, Harry Potter Fans, you’re in luck. Starbucks has a sweet-tooth for spell-casting. The coffee chain connected to all witches, wizards and muggles alike with a whole line of Harry Potter themed drinks including the Polyjuice Potion Frappucino, Harry Potter’s Pumpkin Juice and most importantly, the Butterbeer Frappuccino.

How to get it:

  1. Order a creme base frappuccino.
  2. Ask for 3 pumps of caramel syrup.
  3. Ask for 3 pumps of toffee nut syrup.
  4. Add a little bit more spice by requesting a pump of cinnamon dolce syrup and cinnamon sprinkled on top.

2. Quesarito at Chipotle

Though eating any Chipotle burrito is a feat by itself, it’s basically the junior leagues compared to the Quesarito. This secret menu item is exactly what it sounds like. A fully stuffed burrito wrapped in a very cheesy quesadilla, the Quesarito will put you into a sweatpants-filled food coma for days.

How to get it:

  1. Replace the normal tortilla option with a cheese quesadilla as the outer shell.
  2. Add normal burrito ingredients.
  3. Add another layer of cheese (because there’s never enough cheese).

Chipotle fan secret hack secret: You can get a normal burrito double wrapped and a side of cilantro free of charge if you ask nicely.

3. Gummy Bear (Pink) Smoothie at Jamba Juice

Jamba Juice loves playing with its secret menu almost as much as Kanye loves Kanye. Over the years, both customers and employees alike have played with so many variations that it’s honestly hard to keep track what’s on the menu and what’s off. As of now, there are 33 official secret menu items to choose from and their types range from a Peanut Butter & Jelly to Pink Starburst to even a Push-Pop smoothie. For now, let’s focus on the Gummy Bear (Pink) smoothie.

How to get it:

  1. Ask for 6 oz. mango juice.
  2. Add 4 oz. soy milk.
  3. Add 1 scoop of lime sherbet.
  4. Add 1 scoop of raspberry sherbet.
  5. Add 1 scoop of pineapple sherbet.
  6. Add 1 scoot of orange sherbet.
  7. Add 1 scoop of strawberries.
  8. Finish with ice.
  9. Blend to perfection.

4. Animal Fries at In-n-Out Burger

In-n-Out has a prominent cult following for their “not-so-secret” menu, and for good reason. The burger chain offers a whole line of creative combination meals, one of which are the well-regarded Animal Fries.  This side order pairs perfectly with the “not-so-secret” Animal Style Burger as it comes with fries slathered in melted cheese, the In-n-Out secret spread and topped with grilled onions.

How to get it:

  1. Go to any In-n-Out location.
  2. Order Animal Fries.
  3. Enjoy.

5. Banana Split Blizzard at Dairy Queen

As the summer heats up, a visit to Dairy Queen for one of their smooth ice cream treats is always a good choice.  Change up the average vanilla or chocolate order with a Banana Split Blizzard. Some DQ locations will know instantly what you are talking about, others you may have to explain.

How to get it:

  1. Ask for a vanilla blizzard.
  2. Add strawberry, pineapple, and chocolate blended in.
  3. Add whipped cream blended in or on top.
