This Sudsy Cocktail Is Served In A Mini Bathtub And You’ll Want To Jump Right In
Bathtub bubbles that’ll get you tipsy? Sign us up. There’s a Chicago speakeasy called The Bassment, where chrome accents, exposed brick, street art and live blues reign supreme, and where there’s a bathtime cocktail on the menu. Its signature “The Bathtub” cocktail is served in an actual bathtub, complete with a rubber ducky.
The sudsy $20 libation is made with Tito’s vodka, lemon, cucumber jalapeño syrup, St. Germain and lemon foam. The rubber ducky floats on top of the creamy lemon foam. It’s one of the most adorable cocktails we’ve ever seen.
Don’t forget to take a picture before you drink all of the bubbles. The underground Chi-town spot is hidden behind a cigar shop front and serves upscale plates and craft cocktails— perfect for a mini photoshoot. So get your hands on this nostalgic cocktail the next time you’re traveling through the Windy City.
No matter what kind of day you’re having, playing with a rubber duck and drinking a creamy lemon foam cocktail will cure it all. Can we all float in a tub full of lemon foam?
