You Can Hop Into A Beer Bath At This Icelandic Spa

@twonerdstravel

Do you love beer so much that you’d bathe in it if you could? Well, we have just the place for you. One Icelandic spa offers the ultimate hoppy experience by allowing guests to literally jump into a beer bath. If this sounds like something you need ASAP, shall we introduce you to the cheapest airline ticket to Iceland?

Located in Dalvík, Iceland, the Bjorbovin Spa is a haven for those who enjoy beer and relaxation. The main attraction is obviously the beer baths. There are seven tubs made of high-quality Kambala wood in the spa, and you can opt to bathe solo or with a partner. The tubs are filled with warm beer, water, hops and yeast, and though the actual bath water is undrinkable, each bath is equipped with an attached beer tap.

The experience includes a soak in the beer bath for about 25 minutes before heading to a relaxation room for another 25 minutes.

According to the spa’s website, there are a number of reasons outside of the obvious for taking a beer bath, and the effects of the yeast can keep you healthier. “This treatment is both cleansing for the skin and has a very positive effect on health,” the website reads.

The service starts at just $50 per person. All you need to do is get over there, and the rest is history. (Just don’t get too drunk in the bath!)
