Free up a clogged toilet without a plunger by pouring in scalding hot water and salt. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes and then flush.
Health
You have another reason to eat snails besides the fact that they’re tasty. The little guys are great for your health because they’re packed with omega-3 fatty acids, which can lower your risk of heart disease, and they have a surprising amount of protein — 16.5 grams per 100-gram serving. There’s a reason why you crave certain foods — and there are healthy ways to relieve them, too. If you’re craving something salty, it means that you actually might need more sodium, especially if you drink a lot of coffee (which can flush sodium out of your system). Food + Drink
Did you know that specific beers pair well with certain spicy foods? Amber ales, porters and stouts can help mellow out super spicy dishes, and if you want to amp up the flavor of your food instead, choose IPAs and pale ales. Also, keep in mind that beers with a higher alcohol percentage can really turn up the heat of your dish as well.
Peeling a squash has never been easier. Cut off the stem and bottom of your squash and poke it with a fork 15 times before heating it in the microwave for three to four minutes. Then, you can (carefully) take it out and peel it with a veggie peeler. Bada bing, bada boom! Read more on Swirled.
Skip takeout and make your own juicy chicken and shiitake mushroom dumplings instead. Form the dough out of flour and water, and cook diced onions and mushrooms until they’re translucent. Then, add the veggies to a bowl with ground chicken, soy sauce, sugar and oil. Make rounds out of the dough, add a spoonful of the mixture, seal them up, cook and enjoy! Read more on Swirled.
