You Can Enjoy Your Foam All Year Long With The New Starbucks Iced Cappuccino
Starbucks finally has a solution for your iced versus hot coffee dilemma. The coffee chain has introduced Cold Foam on a national scale, letting you enjoy your cold beverages with a new layer of frothy creaminess.
The new foam — which won’t disappear as quickly as it would in a hot beverage — is made by aerating skim milk until it’s smooth and frothy. The foam itself comes in two forms: a regular skim milk version and a naturally sweetened version made with sweet coffee cherries.
Cold Foam will be featured in three of Starbucks’ cafe drinks, including the Cascara Cold Brew, Blonde Iced Cappuccino and Cascara Nitro Cold Brew. You can also have Cold Foam added to any drink on the menu for an extra 50 cents.
Cold Foam could potentially have a huge impact on the Starbucks demographic, attracting more cold brew and iced craft coffee drinkers than before. We’re ready for all the frothiness!
