Though we Americans would like to think we work the most — and many of us can be classified as workaholics — it seems that, on average, we don’t have it that bad. In fact, people from 15 major countries including Greece, Ireland and Portugal work more hours than Americans by far. Topping the list is Mexico, whose citizens work an average of 2,255 hours per worker annually.

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) surveyed full-time employees from 38 countries on how many hours they worked in full, excluding any time off due to holidays, annual paid leave, illness, injury and temporary disability, parental leave, schooling or training, among other conditions.
