San Francisco is known for its steep rolling hills, cable cars, Fisherman’s Wharf, breezy summers, Alcatraz Island and most visibly, its fog. California-based distillery Hangar 1 created a vodka called Fog Point that’s made with San Francisco fog, so you can have a bottle of the Bay Area experience no matter where you live.

The vodka is made with fog catchers, which turn San Fran’s fog into fresh water. The water gets blended with vodka that’s been crafted from distilled wine from California’s Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc and Viognier.

The result is a crisp, pure and gluten-free vodka with hints of pear, citrus and honeysuckle. If you’re wondering where the fog comes into play, Fog Point has some elements of salinity (the concentration of dissolved salt in water) in the mix. The weather-encompassing spirit has an ABV of 40 percent and a proof of 80.

You can shake up some fun cocktails with Fog Point like this Plum Martini, but it’s best when you drink it neat or on the rocks.

A bottle will run you $134, so we don’t recommend taking shots of the liquor. Take your time and sip. If you’ve ever wondered what fog tastes like, now is your chance!
