You might think that traveling to Bali, Indonesia has become way too mainstream for the adventurous traveler. But an astoundingly affordable Airbnb, located on the secluded outskirts of the town of Singaraja in Northern Bali, might change your mind.

For just $89 a night, or less than $12 a person if you bring along seven of your friends, you can stay at the luxury Villa Sanglung with a 180-degree view of the ocean and untouched wilderness. Enjoy the spectacular view while taking a dip in your private infinity pool and eating traditional Indonesian dishes (think: chicken curry and bbq dinner) prepared by the on-sight villa staff.

The villa sleeps up to eight guests, with two large bedrooms (and two beds in each bedroom), two en-suite bathrooms, and one bathroom in the living room area. Enjoy your dinner overlooking the breathtaking ocean views in an open-air dining area and terrace. Although the villa is in a remote location, there’s no need to worry about security as the owners of the property also provide night security.

Seeking a little more adventure during your stay? Dolphin watching and waterfalls await at only a 30-minute car ride from your villa. A 20-minute drive into the town of Singaraja will allow you to explore local restaurants and seaside cafes.

Here’s how to make this dream vacation a reality:

The closest airport to your dream destination is Ngurah Rai International Airport. You won’t be able to fly directly to this airport from the United States, so you’ll most likely have a layover in Dubai or Doha. When you get to Ngurah Rai International Airport, you’ll want to rent a car or use the villa’s provided car service for the two and a half hour drive to the town of Singaraja.

You can also fly into Denpasar Airport on the other side of the island from Singaraja. If you don’t take the Airbnb’s car service, you can take a bus or grab a taxi across the island.

Once you arrive in Sinjaraia, your villa is only a short 30-minute car ride away. Heads up: The road conditions for the last two miles to your villa aren’t the best, so you’ll want to contact the Airbnb host for assistance if you aren’t using their provided car service.
