Add This Maple-Roasted Cauliflower To Your Dinner Routine
Cauliflower can take on all kinds of delicious forms. Sometimes it’s sweet and spicy, and other times it’s zesty and herbaceous. When cauliflower caramelizes in the oven, it takes on a level of sweetness that’s pretty addicting, and its meaty texture makes it insanely versatile for any occasion. So the next time you’re in the mood for a sweet and nutty cauliflower recipe that’ll (kind of) replace your dessert cravings, try this one-pan snack.
Maple Roasted Cauliflower With Tahini (1-3 Servings)
Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2-3 teaspoons tahini
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with smoked paprika, maple syrup, olive oil, salt and pepper. Mix it all together until the cauliflower is evenly coated. Spread out the cauliflower in a single layer on the baking sheet and pop it in the oven.
Don’t crowd the cauliflower or it won’t brown. (It’s better to spread out the cauliflower on two baking sheets instead of crowding it all in one pan.) Roast the cauliflower for 30 minutes or until it’s golden brown and caramelized. Once it’s tender and that pretty golden color, sprinkle an extra pinch of salt and pepper on top and drizzle the tahini over the cauliflower. You’re ready to serve!
