Antoni Porowski, our favorite food guru from Netflix’s “Queer Eye,” has plans to open up his own restaurant based on his favorite street foods and it’s getting us all kinds of excited. Swirled got the chance to speak with the Fab Five’s charismatic food expert about his plans and it’s confirmed, he’s even more loveable IRL.

Porowski told us we can expect “guilt-free and delicious food” along with his takes on “street food and things he’s discovered through traveling.” He’ll be working with nutritionists to make it as healthy as possible.

Porowski mentioned that the restaurant will be the kind of place you’ll go to “before or after the gym,” while his cookbook will be more “decedent eats.”

For anyone who loves the inspiring Netflix series as much as we do, you know Porowski won’t be put in a box when it comes to food. One second he’ll be taking a spoonful of Mama Tammye’s macaroni salad or chowing down on a hot dog and the next second he’s making fresh pasta and crafting a two-ingredient avocado and grapefruit salad. Life is all about balance and Porowski seems to have his juggling act all figured out.

Porowski is also a big believer in fresh market-driven ingredients. He mentioned, “I don’t like things that are too processed with healthy foods.”

The charming “Queer Eye” star is conscious of all of the different diet lifestyles out there, whether it’s keto, paleo or vegan. Porowski said, “I kinda want to have something that mixes all of that together.” He doesn’t want to lean too much in any one direction, but he’d like to take “the best parts of every single one of those.”

We know Porowski has an appreciation for indulgence, but he also loves to know where his ingredients come from. We hope the Fab Five star will make his new restaurant accessible to everyone.

From what we’ve seen in the first two seasons of the Netflix series, we can expect all of the avocados.
