    • The team behind Smith & Mills and Navy, Matt Abramcyk and Akiva Elstein, has extended its effortlessly cool vibes to a bright corner in Tribeca with Yves — a laid-back light-filled bistro with an American spin on brasserie classics
    • Chef Daniel Berg (formerly of Daniel and Locanda Verde) serves up a simple and seasonal menu. Comforting dishes include Burrata Cremosa (lobster jus and seared baby leek), potato gnocchi (the chef’s own take on New England clam chowder with manilla clams, bacon, and celery), and chicken meatballs (mirepoix, red wine, and parsnip)
    • Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this neighborhood bistro is the perfect date spot, with craft cocktails, a sleek atmosphere, and a much lighter decor than the owners’ other restaurants

Co-owner Akiva Elstein used his creative eye for detail to design a slew of popular New York restaurants including Navy, Smith & Mills, Employees Only, and Macao Trading Co. Yves’ refined and minimalistic elements are inspired by Europe’s design renaissance during the 1950s
