When the holidays come around, shoppers often flock to more affordable grocery stores, but thanks to Amazon, Whole Foods shoppers can stay right where they are for their Thanksgiving prep this year. Amazon announced it’s further reducing prices on best-selling grocery items and certain holiday favorites throughout Whole Foods stores. The news comes on the heels of prices being cut earlier this fall.

In time for Thanksgiving, you’ll find cheaper prices on organic and antibiotic-free turkeys. You can get an organic turkey for $3.49 per pound or an antibiotic-free turkey for $2.49 per pound. If you’re a prime member, you’ll get 20 percent more off of turkey at $2.99 per pound for the organic and $1.99 for the antibiotic-free. And there’s more…

Whole Foods’ prices are also reduced on organic customer favorites like canned pumpkin, broccoli, salad mixes, russet potatoes and sweet potatoes. There are lower prices on pasture-raised eggs for all of your baking needs. According to the company’s statement, the lower prices are just the beginning of new, exciting changes to come from Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods.
