5 Unique Ways To Use Store-Bought Cookie Dough

@postresgt

We can’t say that a big plate of freshly-baked cookies doesn’t tickle our fancy. Add milk and we’re in heaven. But sometimes, we’re ready to get creative with our cookie obsession. If you have a pack of cookie dough and want to try something new, these five inventive ideas might inspire you.

1. Cookie Waffles

If you have a waffle maker, these cookie treats might just be your new favorite thing. Heat up the waffle maker and spray the inside with non-stick spray. Then, add a small handful of the dough. Check it periodically to make sure the cookie doesn’t burn, and then enjoy immediately.

2. Giant Skillet Lava Cookie

Grab your skillet and add half a pack of cookie dough to the bottom, spreading it evenly. Add some chopped dark chocolate on top of the cookie dough, and then add the rest of the cookie dough on top, making sure to cover the dark chocolate. Bake it at 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the cookie is golden brown. Serve it with ice cream, caramel sauce or anything else your heart desires.

3. Cookie Cones

Got ice cream? You have to try making cookie cones. Spray a round pizza pan with non-stick spray, and then roll or press out a pack of cookie dough onto the pan until it covers the pan in a thin layer. Bake it at 350 degrees for about five to eight minutes, or until the cookie is golden brown. Then, follow these instructions to correctly form a cone and let the cookie dry. Add ice cream and devour ASAP.

4. Cookie Dough Cheesecake

Grab a springform pan that you’d use to make cheesecake, and instead of making a crust, add two-thirds of a pack of cookie dough to the bottom of a greased pan, and roll the rest of the dough into multiple small balls.

Smooth the dough you’re using for the crust into the pan until it covers the bottom, and then bake it at 350 degrees for five to eight minutes. In the meantime, prepare your cheesecake filling according to your preferred instructions. When the cookie is golden brown, take the pan out of the oven and pour the cheesecake filling into the pan. Drop in some of the cookie dough balls and bake it according to the cheesecake instructions. Then take it out, let it set and enjoy!

5. Cookie Shots

Follow our instructions on how to make these babies, but essentially, all you need is a shot baking pan, nonstick spray and a pack of cookie dough!
