Starbucks Adds Two Sweet Frappuccinos To Its Permanent Menu
Let’s be honest, Starbucks’ Frappuccino fans are essentially looking for a milkshake instead of a caffeinated morning boost.
And those sweet-tooth frap fans have a new reason to get excited. For the first time in 16 years, Starbucks is adding two new Frappuccinos to its permanent menu. You can welcome the Ultra Caramel Frappuccino and the Triple Mocha Frappuccino to the family.
These two creamy additions aren’t completely new concepts. They’re upgrades to veteran Starbucks’ drinks you know and love, like regular mocha and caramel Frappuccinos. What makes these new additions stand out is the initial layer of Sweet Cold Brew Whipped Cream.
The Ultra Caramel Frappuccino — which is 350 calories for a 12-ounce serving — has the Dark Caramel Coffee Frappuccino layered in with a swirl of dark caramel sauce. The Triple Mocha Frappuccino — which is 320 calories for 12 ounces — has a second layer that’s the Mocha Coffee Frappuccino with a rich mocha sauce. Both drinks are made with whole milk and topped at the end with another layer of Sweet Cold Brew Whipped Cream.
It’s safe to say with adjectives like “ultra” and “triple” in the game, you’re in for a whole new caliber of sweetness. Your average 12-ounce Frappuccino retails for $4.75 to $4.95 and customers can add extra Sweet Cold Brew Whipped Cream to any drink for $0.50.
