The Skyscanner App Will Help You Find The Best Time To Travel

In the market for cheap flights? Well of course you are, who isn’t? Then you need to download the Skyscanner app. It’s a flight-searching service (both an app and a website) and it’s our favorite way to find the best time to take a big trip.

It works similarly to Google Flights, Kayak and Momondo. You plug in your destination, dates and other preferences, and Skyscanner will give you the best available flights. But our favorite feature on the Skyscanner app is the “everywhere” search.

It allows you to search the entire world, and then sort flights by “cheapest,” “fastest” or plain ol’ “best” (an algorithmic mix of the two). The app can even tell you the best time to travel to a certain destination.

If you’re debating whether to go to Argentina in January or February, Skyscanner can show you which time would be more affordable. But if you’re interested in going somewhere in either South America or Southeast Asia in the spring, Skyscanner can also predict what prices will look like for traveling to Buenos Aires and Bangkok.
