Looking to visit Santorini and live amongst locals, while still enjoying the luxuries of a five-star vacay? This classy cave house, nestled on a cliff in Santorini’s Oia village is the perfect mix of authentic Greek experience and glamorous getaway. The recently renovated cave house sleeps three and is located nearly 500 feet above the sea, guaranteeing the most spectacular sunset views that you can enjoy from the property’s private terrace or outdoor plunge pool.

At $131 per person a night (when split between three), this Airbnb is quite a splurge, but it’s worth it when you take into account that the price also includes complimentary daily breakfast delivered to your door, daily maid service and a porter. If you’d rather cut costs and do without the extra services, you can stay at the cave house for a reduced price during off-season (November 1st to March 31). Keep in mind though that it’ll be cooler during the winter months and the private plunge pool won’t be operational — gasp.

Here’s how to make this dream vacation a reality:

The closest airport to the cave that you crave is Santorini National Airport (JTR). To get there from most major United States cities, you can fly into Athens and then take a connecting flight to JTR. Once you get to the Santorini airport, you can rent a car or take a taxi for the remaining half hour drive to your dream destination. If you do decide to rent a car, keep in mind that there’s no parking on property. Luckily, the host says that there’s a public parking lot 200 meters away.
