We live in a world where people drink fried chicken-infused beer, coat their turkeys with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, sip on glitter-coated cappuccinos and eat food shaped like poop, so we’re past having any rules when it comes to food collaborations.

Now, a Philadelphia ice cream shop has gone into new savory-and-sweet territory with pizza-flavored ice cream. Little Baby’s Ice Cream serves slice-inspired scoops as a tribute to the pizzeria it shares a space with in Philly’s Fishtown area.

The pizza ice cream is made with the same ingredients as a classic pie. During the ice cream making process, the shop incorporates oregano, red pepper flakes, garlic, basil and tomato paste. The ice cream serves as the cheese. Customers claim the scoop actually tastes like pizza.

Pizza ice cream seems like the best of both worlds if you love the idea of savory and sweet. And if you’re feeling nostalgic about the crust, you can always make your own savory ice cream sandwich and place a few scoops of pizza in between some focaccia bread or right on an actual slice of pizza. Whatever floats your ice cream boat.

This innovative flavor isn’t the first quirky scoop to come from Little Baby’s Ice Cream. They’ve also created flavors like Earl Grey Sriracha, Cucumber Dill, Everything Bagel, Ranch and Banana Balsamic.
