MatchaBar — a pioneering, Brooklyn-based matcha cafe with the support of Champagne Papi himself — is launching a healthier alternative to energy drinks like Red Bull and Monster. The company’s motto is “a full kick without all the gnarly stuff,” and this new drink option definitely delivers on that idea.

The sparkling matcha energy drink, dubbed “Hustle,” offers a sustainable source of focused energy compared to the boost (and crash) associated with most caffeinated beverages. Made with ceremonial grade matcha, Hustle is available online in 12-packs of 10-ounce cans and in sweetened and unsweetened varieties.

MatchaBar received a financial boost from Drake back in 2017 and continues to bring in celebrity investors like actor Ansel Elgort, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller, music artist Diplo and pop singer Billie Eilish. The co-founders of MatchaBar, Max and Graham Fortgang, have said Drake embodies the entrepreneurial spirit of the brand, along with the company’s ethos that “good things come to those who hustle.” MatchaBar has cafes in New York and Los Angeles, along with a line of bottled beverages that are sold at Whole Foods.
