Mary Berry From ‘The Great British Baking Show’ Is Returning To TV In The Best Way

With 60 years of cooking experience behind her, Mary Berry, known as the “Queen of Cakes” from “The Great British Bakeoff,” is considered to be one of the best in the world of baking. The British food writer and television personality is basically the best hybrid Martha Stewart and Ina Garten the world could ever ask for.

And now, Berry is back as a judge on BBC with her own cooking show called “Britain’s Best Home Cook.” Berry’s new show features London-based chef Dan Doherty and TV personality and food retailer Chris Bavin as judges, along with BBC’s Claudia Winkleman as the show’s host.

The show hones in on 10 skilled home cooks from across the country who encounter all sorts of culinary obstacles while creating a series of British feasts.

The world was heartbroken when Mary Berry left “The Great British Bakeoff” (known in the United States as “The Great British Baking Show”) and loyal fans worried the baking show would never be the same again.

The beloved baking show, which is one of the most therapeutic and lighthearted shows out there, is still running without Berry in the United Kingdom and it’s also available on Netflix. While the show must go on, we’re thrilled that it doesn’t mean we have to live a life without the charismatic 81-year-old baking mogul anymore.

While Berry’s new show might only be available in the United Kingdom right now, there’s probably a good chance we’ll see it on Netflix in the future.
