Halo Top Is Opening Its First Ice Cream Shop, And It’s So Much More Than Pints

Halo Top

Unless you’ve been living under a rock over the last year, you’ve probably heard of Halo Top. The low-calorie, high-protein ice cream is a hot commodity these days, and you can find it in more than 20 flavors (we ranked the original 17!) across the United States. The company recently made waves when it announced the release of vegan pints. Now, Halo Top is opening its first-ever ice cream shop in Los Angeles on November 15. Book your airline tickets — we’re headed to LA.

The shop, which opens promptly at 10 a.m. in Canoga Park at Westfield Topanga, is serving up both scoops and soft-serve. You can get traditional scoops in one of seven Halo Top flavors — vanilla bean, cinnamon roll, pancakes and waffles, chocolate chip cookie dough, red velvet, caramel macchiato and sea salt caramel. Soft-serve flavor options include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and birthday cake. But that’s not all…

You can pack your scoops into a cake cone, waffle cone, sugar cone or Halo “puffle” cone, which Halo Top tells Swirled is like a fluffy waffle. You can also choose from a range of toppings like marshmallow cream and mango.

Of course, the ice cream brand isn’t stopping at just ice cream. You’ll be able to order dessert tacos and cookie sandwiches, and you’ll be able to choose from high-protein cookies or vegan cookies to make those yummy ice cream sandwiches. Halo Top tells Swirled that eager patrons should look out for some exciting secret menu items in the near future.

“We are so excited to open our first brick-and-mortar Halo Top Scoop Shop, and it’s really a dream come true for us,” Halo Top CEO Justin Woolverton said in a statement. “Our goal with the Scoop Shop is to let our fans add all the toppings they could possibly want to a soft serve version of Halo Top.”

Get there on the shop’s opening day and you’ll get complimentary ice cream or soft serve, according to the statement.

If you can’t get enough of the cool treat and you can physically get to Los Angeles sometime after November 15, check out Halo Top’s first-ever shop. It sounds like heaven on high-protein, low-calorie Earth.
