We Tasted Halo Top’s Peanut Butter & Jelly Pint And We Were Pleasantly Surprised

Halo Top’s newest flavor, a recreation of our favorite childhood sandwich, is available for a limited time. So, of course, we had to try the Peanut Butter and Jelly pint to make sure it did the nostalgic food justice.
You’d expect a peanut butter ice cream to be beige in color, but Halo Top’s newest flavor looked more like a pint of vanilla ice cream with swirls of peanut butter and strawberry throughout.
The dominant flavor of the pint was the peanut butter by far, but you could still taste hints of strawberry. Don’t expect any chunks of peanut butter — the consistency was mainly smooth with a slight grittiness to it. It tasted like a bite of a peanut butter sandwich with a thin layer of jelly and underlying hints of vanilla.
If you’re into peanut butter ice cream, you’ll be a fan of the new Halo Top flavor. We wish it was a tiny bit creamier, but we’d eat it again. And we’d easily put a scoop of this on top of a hot fudge brownie or peach cobbler. Get the sweet and salty sandwich flavor while it lasts!
