You And Your Favorite Doggy Friends Can Now Drink Together At This British Pub
Our furry friends deserve a night out on the town for all of the unconditional love they give us. And while there are plenty of bars and cafés out there that welcome your doggo, this London bar is taking “canine-friendly” to an entirely new level by creating a cocktail menu designed specifically for dogs.
At Smith and Whistle, a sleek hotel cocktail bar with a 1920s detective novel vibe, your dog can have all of the liquid treats. Canine nutritionist David Jackson teamed up with Smith and Whistle to create a fun cocktail menu that’s completely safe for pups.
In honor of National Pet Month, which takes place during April in the United Kingdom, Smith and Whistle temporarily changed its name to Smith and Whistle and Max. Cute, right? And the “dogtail” menu features drinks like the Bubbly Bow Wow with dog-friendly prosecco and liquidized blueberries, and the Poochie Colada with kale, broccoli and coconut water.
If your pup is more of a beer drinker, there’s a libation called the Hound’s Hops, which includes dog-friendly beer and fresh mint. And for a treat that’s a little spicy, your pooch can try the Ginger Tails cocktail with fresh ginger and tonic.
While all of the pups slurp these fancy treats, you can enjoy a menu of craft beers, wines, cocktails and bar snacks. If you can’t imagine a night without your furry friend by your side, this is the perfect new hangout spot for you.
