This Alcohol Delivery App Is Like Venmo For Craft Beer

We’ve seen the wine and liquor delivery services out there, but we didn’t realize we were missing a craft beer delivery app from the mix until we came across BrewFund. Available to both Apple and Android users, BrewFund lets you send and receive beers from some of your favorite local taprooms and breweries around the country.

To send a beer, you pick a friend from your contacts, select a taproom from the list and pick which items you’d like to send. The taprooms featured on the app offer all kinds of pairings and bundles. You can also add a personal message to the beer that you’re gifting. Even better, BrewFund is free to download (although the purchases are obviously not).

Right now, people aren’t really being brand-loyal to craft beer picks. There are so many new things all the time, it’s easy to want to try them all. So BrewFund is trying to give people a reason to keep coming back to one brew by working with each of the taprooms on the app to develop a monthly loyalty program. Users would pay a set amount each month and get perks like a monthly growler fill, a free pint and access to all kinds of events and rewards.

You and your friends will be able to compete for the title of “Brew Master,” based on how many users you’ve brought to the app and how much you’ve spent on beers. Pretty clever, BrewFund.
