Get Your Burrito Fix In Minutes With New Chipotle Drive-Thrus
Just when we thought Chipotle couldn’t get any better, the wonderous Mexican fast-casual food chain has once again proven us wrong. Introducing the latest addition to your favorite over-sized-burrito home: drive-thrus that will allow you to experience all of Chipotle’s deliciousness (and post-indulgence food coma) without having to step outside your vehicle.
Unlike old-school drive-thrus, the new Chipotle drive-thrus will only allow you to pick up orders that you’ve already made online or via the Chipotle app. You won’t be able to order food directly at the drive-thrus (because that wouldn’t be original enough for the American chain food giant).
For those looking to experiment with Chipotle’s new invention, these innovative drive-thrus have already been added to Chipotle locations in Ohio and to individual locations in Tennesse, Texas, and Massachusetts. Chipotle plans to add more of these drive-thrus to locations across the country, and lucky Virginia residents can expect to see one appear in their state sometime in the near future. If you’re a Chipotle fanatic, you can figure out if Chipotle will add drive-thrus to locations in your state after June 27.
Although it only takes 12 minutes to complete an online order, 90 percent of Chipotle’s orders are still made in-store. This is might change now that the chain premiered drive-thrus that will allow you to experience bliss-in-a-bowl in minutes without having to wait in an endless line of newbie customers that have yet to decide whether they like their salsa hot or mild.
