You Can Catch Your Own Meal At This Japanese Seafood Restaurant

@kyliefung
Seafood fans, you probably have high standards when it comes to the freshness of your fish. Well, this restaurant is about to change your life. Enter Zauo, a New York City restaurant that lets you actually catch your own meal.
Eater reports that the Japanese chain is opening a brand new location in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood early in 2018. The experience is truly one-of a-kind. Upon entering the three-story restaurant, you rent a fishing pole and bait, take your seat on an oversized “boat” seating area and wait for a bite.
Don’t be fooled by the humbling experience — the price for an average meal doesn’t come cheap. If you catch your own fish, you’ll pay about $366, but if you don’t feel like putting in work (understandably, but then what’s the point in coming to this restaurant? Riiiight?), you’ll pay a steeper price of $493.
If sitting in a boat isn’t your thing, but you still want to experience the ambiance, feel free to head up to the third floor for sushi and even higher-end dishes than your freshly-caught snapper.
This restaurant sounds insane, and we’d love to at least take a peek at the inside. But if you’re not big on working for your meal, we suggest you save your money.
