The World’s Longest Zip Line Is Officially Open In The United Arab Emirates

@roosterpr

Ready to fly? This crazy zip line just opened in the United Arab Emirates and it broke the record for the longest zip line in the world.

The Jebel Jai Flight zip is 1.76 miles long, a Guinness World Record length, and its speeds hit 75 to 93 miles per hour.

Riders will start from the top of the tallest mountain in the country, where you’re basically already in the clouds. At the platform, you’re strapped into a head-first harness. Yes, that means you’re hurtling through the air head-first.

It’s a full three minutes from start to finish. At the finish, you’re still suspended mid-air. The ending platform also hangs from cables, so the thrills just never stop here.

The line is located in Ras al-Khaimah in UAE, not far from other adrenaline-seeking attractions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
