This WiFi-Connected Bottle Keeps Your Wine Fresh For Weeks

Imagine throwing a party with tons of wine and not having to worry about the leftover vino going bad within the next few days? The smart wine bottle company Kuvée has designed a WiFi-connected bottle with oxygen barrier technology so that you can keep your wine fresh for up to 30 days.

Each FreshPour bottle has a cap that protects the valve from dents and damage. The bottle valve on top prevents oxygen from reaching the wine inside, while it lets air flow out. This is what allows the wine to stay fresh.

There’s a foil seal on the bottle, which you can remove to help the wine flow smoothly out of the spout and valve. The outer shell of the bottle is made of recyclable plastic and provides an extra barrier to prevent oxygen from reaching the wine. Also, inside the wine bottle is a flexible protective layer that holds wine and collapses as you pour.

In addition to keeping your wine fresh for weeks, there’s the concept of Kuvée connect, which is a WiFi-connected dispenser that helps you pour the perfect glass, rate different wines and learn more about your faves right on a built-in color touch screen. The WiFi-connected bottle gives you personalized wine recommendations so you don’t have to go out of your way to find your next bottle.

You can check out the Kuvée website for info on its wine membership plans. If you’re big into wine and technology, these high-tech bottles are for you.
