From lowering blood pressure to giving you an overall sense of happiness — traveling is seriously good for you. You don’t need to go on an elaborate trip to make a difference either. Life Hack Of The Day: Moisturized Skin Edition

Head to the kitchen to remedy your dry feet and hands. A few drops of ultra-rich olive oil will have your skin soft in no time. Rub the oil into your feet (and/or hands) and cover with an old pair of light-colored cotton socks or cotton gloves. Rinse off in the morning and pat dry. Bonus hack: Coconut oil does the same trick!

Health

Water seems to be the answer to all of our problems. Want to lose weight? Drink water. Have a headache? Drink water. Battling a cold? Drink water. But sometimes getting all that water can be hard to swallow. Up your intake with a few simple tricks like setting a drinking schedule (there are a ton of apps that can help you reach your goal) or eating more water-rich produce like watermelon and cucumbers. Read on to find even more hydration help. [Swirled]

If you struggle to fall asleep, snack on walnuts and kiwis before bedtime — they’re full of serotonin, which helps regulate those Zs. Want more wellness tips and health intel like this every week? Sign up for our Daily Fit by Swirled newsletter!

From talking to our bosses about new opportunities to joining professional networks and seeking out a mentor who can help guide us through a career, we’re looking to change the course and stay motivated in our careers as much as possible. Food + Drink

Starbucks’ Pink Dragon is movin’ on from the secret menu to a place on the permanent menu. The fan-created cold beverage is a combo of Starbucks’ Mango Dragonfruit Refresher and creamy coconut milk. Get the ‘gram ready, this is truly a cup of cheer. [Forbes]

Recipe Of The Day: The nuttiest Paleo dessert is also one of the easiest to make. Pecans are topped with a homemade vegan caramel —  a combo of coconut oil, maple syrup, nut butter, vanilla and a pinch of salt — then finished with a rich chocolate shell and a final sprinkle of salt. The ultimate sweet, salty, yummy treat is perfect for gifting friends or yourself because we’re all about self-care and treating yourself. [A Saucy Kitchen]

A quick tip from yours truly: Nuts can be expensive but if you buy them in bulk and store them in the freezer they will last much longer and avoid the risk of going rancid.
