What To Expect

We won’t lie — you’ll see a lot of people rolling, but this party is so much more than that. You’ll meet people from all over the world, watch fire dancers, rock out to DJ’s and buy giant cocktails served in actual buckets for around 350 baht, or $10.

How To Dress

Go all out in as much neon as you can find. It’s common to wear fanny packs and have your body covered with neon paint. It’s easy to get decked out with cheap buys from a number of street vendors.

Getting There And Where To Stay

The party happens each month on the night of the full moon on Haad Rinh beach, which is on the island that basically exists only for the event. There are multiple hotel packages you can book through the Full Moon site or you can use a third-party site like TripAdvisor. If you stay in a hotel close by, there are cabs everywhere and no shortage of transportation. Alternatively, you can take a cheap ferry in from neighboring islands Koh Samui or Koh Tao.
