You Can Run Around NYC Fighting Monsters In This ‘Stranger Things’ Scavenger Hunt

If you’re a fan of “Stranger Things,” you’re gonna freak over a new immersive attraction centered around the show. New York City events website FeverUp is hosting a “Stranger Things” scavenger hunt, complete with plenty of physical and mental challenges — take that as you will — on Saturday, December 9 at 1:30 p.m. If you want to be Eleven for the day, get your butt to New York City and participate.
For $39 a ticket, you can reserve your spot in the scavenger hunt, which will take you around many of the city’s famous landmarks while completing “Stranger Things”-themed challenges. We think it’s safe to say that you won’t be tasked with making cars levitate with your mind, but the event page does say that you’ll be fighting monsters and going to the “other side” and back.
The scavenger hunt lasts three hours and includes prizes for the winning team, as well as other ranking teams. Over the three-hour hunt, you and your team will rack up points to win the prizes, which we bet are gonna be bomb.
Well, “Stranger Things” fans, we can’t think of anything more perfect for you to experience. You’ll feel like you’re a part of the squad with Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will and Eleven on this warped journey through the Big Apple. Our only word of advice? Don’t get stuck in the upside down.
