New Starbucks Fall Latte Might Just Be Better Than The PSL

In case you just woke up after a month-long nap, the PSL is everywhere. While we hold a mild appreciation for the pumpkin spice drink, we’re ready for the next thing. Starbucks read our minds, because the company is out with a new coveted beverage. Everyone make room for the maple pecan latte, or the MPL.

Starbucks announced the new drink on Thursday morning in a press release. The latte, which we assume will smell like a fresh, mapley cinnamon bun, is made of maple syrup, pecan syrup, brown sugar, espresso and steamed milk. Basically, get your sweet tooth ready.

The release of the drink celebrates the first day of fall on Friday, September 22. Grab your scarf, head to your nearest shop and grab a MPL. Do us a solid and let us know what you think. We’re interested to try it, for sure — though we’re really interested in trying anything that will make us feel like snuggling up somewhere.
