In case you weren’t aware, Starbucks is basically every (basic) girl’s daily pit stop when those holiday vibes hit. We’ll sing praises to the classic PSL and those seasonal favorites like gingerbread and peppermint, but we’ve got some serious news. The coffee company released possibly the most festive latte yet. Say hello to the juniper latte.

You know juniper — that lovely shrubby plant that gives gin its distinctive taste. It also pairs well with sage, both of which are in this latte. The company says the latte “has a light, pine-like flavor with delightful citrus undertones.” It’s made with espresso, steamed milk and juniper syrup, and then it’s topped with foam and a festive pine citrus sugar.

Starbucks

Starbucks is known for its nearly flawless selection of specialty flavored holiday drinks, but for once, we’re glad to taste something other than cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. You feel us?

While we can’t wait to sugar ourselves up with all the holiday flavors, this drink is only gracing our presence for a limited time. Ah, all good things must come to an end. But at the very least, we hope that it sticks around for the next holiday season with all the caramel brulées, peppermint mochas and gingerbread frappuccinos.
