Starbucks Happy Hour Is Back And It’s Including Way More Than Frappuccinos
Your favorite hour is back at Starbucks, and you’ll get way more than discounted Frappuccinos this time around.
Starting Thursday, March 29, Starbucks Happy Hour will discount the prices of espresso drinks, iced tea, Frappuccinos and more at participating stores throughout the United States and Canada.
There’s just one catch: Happy Hour will only be available to customers who receive an invitation by signing up through the Starbucks mobile app. The coffee chain will notify you directly if you’re eligible for its upcoming Happy Hour deals or events.
For the lucky invited customers, Happy Hour means you’ll get 50 percent off Frappuccinos, espresso drinks, iced teas and more from 3 p.m. to closing time on Thursday.
By increasing these kinds of invite-only promotions, Starbucks hopes to create a more relevant digital experience with customers inside and outside of Starbucks stores. And if you don’t get an invite this week, don’t fret. Begining Monday, April 2, customers will be asked to provide an email address when they sign on to Starbucks in-store WiFi, which will keep them connected for all return visits and make them the first to hear about Starbucks’ latest deals and offers, such as Happy Hour, throughout the year.
We’ll admit it — we’re pretty excited about potential discounts on our afternoon espresso shots. Fingers crossed that we get invited!
