This Star Wars-Themed Pop-Up Bar Encourages Drinking In Costume

Whoever said Halloween is over was sadly mistaken. You get to drink in costume throughout the rest of 2017 thanks to a new Star Wars-themed pop-up called The Dark Side Bar.

The bar, which opens on Wednesday, November 15, will run for two months into the new year. Its opening coincides with the debut of the latest Star Wars installment, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” which hits theatres on Friday, December 15.  The Dark Side Bar will have three locations: Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and New York City.

Admission is $33 per person, which includes two cocktails. You can reserve your tickets online here, but walk-ins are also welcome.

The sci-fi-esque Dark Side Bar will offer themed DJ nights like alien speed dating and an intergalactic burlesque show, according to Food and Wine. There will also be small plates and a cocktail menu featuring custom creations like Red Force, Blue Force, the Galaxy and the Mindtrick.

While costumes aren’t required, wearing your Darth Vader costume is for sure encouraged, and it’ll probably make your experience that much more immersive.

So what are you waiting for? Come on over to the dark side.
