Sonic Is Rolling Out Pickle Juice Slushes This Summer And We’re Intrigued

For those with an appreciation for the sour things in life, Sonic Drive-In will be rolling out pickle juice slushes this summer. This bright green frozen drink is part of the drive-in chain’s Snow Cone Slushes lineup. You have to be a true pickle fan to appreciate this tart creation.

These pickle juice slushes are made with a briny, herbaceous and acidic syrup to give you that pickle punch, but they still have a little bit of sweetness to mellow things out. Pickle foods are somewhat of an obsession right now, so this summertime treat won’t be completely outlandish. In fact, people will probably love it just because it’s funky.

In addition to the slushes, Sonic will let you add this pickle juice syrup to any drink or food item on the menu.

If you’re obsessed with sour foods, the Sonic slush sounds like the most refreshing thing you could possibly sip on. There’s also speculation that the pickle juice drink makes a perfect partner for all of the burgers, tater tots and corn dogs on the drive-in chain’s menu.

On top of the pickle juice, other new slush flavors include Bahama Mama, Blue Hawaiian and Tiger’s Blood. Bring on the sour!
