The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club Features Games, Flamingos And Tropical Cocktails

[tw-divider]The Scoop[/tw-divider]

  • Imagine going to visit your Jewish grandparents in sunny Boca Raton and tagging along on their weekly shuffleboard games — The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club is essentially the same thing but ten times cooler. In a refurbished factory in Gowanus, Jonathan Schnapp and Ashley Albert have recreated a tropical shuffleboard paradise geared towards a slightly younger crowd
  • Complete with colorful flamingo decor, ten swimming-pool-blue shuffleboard courts, cocktails served in mason jars, a slew of trendy-20 -and 30-somethings, and weekly-rotating food trucks docked conveniently inside (Luke’s Lobster, Tuom Truck, Sandwich Bar Express), The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club has brought an entirely new energy to the game
  • Take the R train to Union Street and expect cocktails to run you an average of $12. Try the Pineapple Puppy (rum, tiki bitters, lime, mint syrup, coconut water, and Ace pineapple cider) or The Beth Allen (tequila, chili liquor, mezcal, peach nectar, jalapeño syrup, lime, and Prosecco). Drinks come with classic mini umbrellas and some are named after legendary shuffleboard players
