This Plant Could Be The Key To Finally Reducing Your Snoring Problem

Do you keep your partner (or roommates) awake throughout the night with intermittent snoring? Or worse, do they prevent you from achieving a restful night’s sleep? If so, it might be time to add a new kind of greenery to your bedroom decor.

According to NASA scientists, pineapple plants are particularly efficient in producing oxygen, as well as improving air quality throughout the night, which creates the ideal environment for a better — and quieter — night’s sleep. Just place the potted plant on the floor next to your nightstand or in the corner of the room (they’re rather large and prickly) to reap the benefits.

The particular pineapple plants recommended by NASA are grown in Holland. They take 21 to 24 months to mature, which is when the plant reveals a cute little pineapple at its peak.

Because snoring negatively impacts so many people, British supermarket retailer ASDA is now selling these wonder plants in their stores for just £12 (or $15.88).

While we have yet to give these babies a try ourselves, we consider them to be a pretty low-risk investment for our sleep health and a no-brainer for our home decor. We could all use a few more tropical plants in our spaces to spice things up a bit, right?
