This Couple’s Engagement Photos Under The Northern Lights Are #GOALS
Dale Sharpe and Karlie Russell may have won the award for the most beautiful proposal photos of all time. No, seriously, in the history of proposals. Dale planned the perfect Northern Lights engagement photos in the Lofoten Islands of Norway on March 6 and the result was nothing short of breathtaking.
The landscape photographers travel the world together to find the world’s most beautiful moments. When they reached the Arctic Circle for another seemingly normal trip, Dale proposed. But it wasn’t his first time.
He planned to propose in Iceland last year, but they found that their luggage was too heavy on a connecting flight. Karlie threw away the lotion bottle in which Dale stashed the $4,000 ring. Yikes.
This time around, Dale was successful. What came from a second chance to pop the question was a universally-beloved and awe-inspiring photo. Since the proposal, the couple’s Instagram featured more Norway photos that make us want to catch a flight just for the view.
Really, the only way to top this engagement is if another couple gets any closer to the Aurora Borealis in that exact spot. But even then, that’s pushing it.
