These Are The 10 Most Welcoming Cities In The World

Singapore is where you’ll find the warmest welcome in the world as a traveler, according to a recent worldwide survey.

Travel Bird analyzed 500 tourist destinations around the globe to find out which is the most welcoming. They looked at factors like easy navigation, lack of language barriers and resident happiness, as well as polling 15,000 travel journalists about their experiences in each spot.

The survey also measured over-tourism in order to track cities where drastic influxes of travelers have created long lines, overcrowding and bitterness from locals. The standouts from Travel Bird’s survey are cities that aren’t necessarily the ultimate tourist metropolises but are little beacons of happiness in our well-traveled world.
