The Moonlight Mile Features Whiskey Mania In Greenpoint
[tw-divider]The Scoop[/tw-divider]
- Greenpoint has a home for the whiskey-obsessed — The Moonlight Mile. Owner Garry Embry serves more than 200 types of whiskey (Kentucky bourbon and American whiskey) along with an ever-changing selection of 12 craft beers, on the corner of Franklin and India streets
- Late 20th century rock plays from the free jukebox and if you’re lucky, you might even catch Embry playing his personal collection of vinyls behind the bar. This bourbon destination supports the community with local artists’ work and CD signings of Brooklyn-based bands
- Expect a laid-back crowd of all ages. Experiment with whiskey on the rocks or mixed into a custom cocktail — try the White Walker (Stillhouse Moonshine, lemon juice, homemade simple syrup, egg white, and creme de peche) or the Ned Stark (High West Double Rye Bourbon, homemade sassafras syrup, and angostura bitters)
