This Fantastical Chilean Lodge Is A Luxurious Blend Between A Waterfall And A Hotel
Have you ever wanted to sleep inside a waterfall? You’re in luck, because the Montaña Mágica Lodge in Chile’s Huilo Natural Reserve is a strange hybrid of a hotel, waterfall and volcano.
The lodge isn’t a mountain, but it’s magical all right. Constructed from local lumber and stone, the hotel seamlessly blends into the surrounding jungle. To fully embrace the rainforest feel, water cascades down the mossy sides of the hotel.
And while the Montaña Mágica Lodge is a little wacky, it’s not missing any creature comforts for all its wild location.
There’s a spa at the Montaña Mágica Lodge with a heated pool and multiple saunas, perfect for when the weather turns cold.

Inside, you’ll find rooms named after local birds, and you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink. Your bedroom is all rustic wood, while the dining room (where you can get three-course meals) has giant windows to show off Huilo’s stunning natural landscapes.
If you are not already convinced to visit for the Montaña Mágica Lodge, Huilo reserve also boasts the world’s smallest species and the longest zip line course in South America.
Vamanos a Chile, amigos!
