Miracle on Ninth Street: A Winter Wonderland Pop-Up Bar
[tw-divider]The Scoop[/tw-divider]
- Miracle on Ninth Street is an annual holiday pop-up bar that takes over Mace — an unpretentious spice-focused cocktail bar in the East Village by expert French barman Nico de Soto and Greg Boehm — from November 25 through December 24
- The comfy space is decked out with tasteful Christmas decor — colorful lights, garlands, vintage cards, shelves lined with Santa mugs, gift-wrapped boxes dangling from the ceiling — and a special blue-and-white Hanukkah Hideaway nook with an inflatable menorah and a cocktail menu straight from “Menorah Man”
- Sip on festive drinks like the aquavit-and-sherry Muletide (ginger and pumpkin pie soda), the Jingle Ball Nog (eggnog spiked with brown butter fat-washed cognac and amontillado sherry), and the Brazen Britzen (a gin-and-pine liquor cocktail blended with vanilla syrup, lime, mint, and club soda) while you jam out with all of your favorite holiday tunes

Only a 10-minute walk from this winter wonderland is Miracle on Ninth Street’s tropical sister bar, Sippin’ Santa’s Surf Shack at Boilermaker — open through December 24 — where mixologists wear surf shorts and Hawaiin shirts and serve tiki cocktails
