We’re all for bite-sized treats (anyone else obsessed with Baked By Melissa?), but these cakes take the trend to a whole new level. A handful of Instagram accounts are featuring these sculpted confections. Artist Rachel Dyke’s mini cakes have been featured on Food Network and Earthly Grace creates wedding cake replicas that look like the real thing.

To quote @catherinegeorgecakes "this cake was monumental in so many ways." I absolutely love her monuments cherry blossom cake design. As a D.C. Girl this would have been my dream cake. My hubby and I had our wedding almost ten years ago during the cherry blossom festival. This yeas festival is in in full bloom and while I won't make it into the city to see its beautify I can enjoy these two amazing creations! I don't get many opportunities to make mini cake stands but when I do it is always a blast! This is the second time I've made tiny replica of a @sarahsstands.
