Ever wonder what kind of view a pilot gets from the cockpit of a plane? Wonder no more. On a flight from Zurich, Switzerland to São Paulo, Brazil, pilot Sales Wick captured footage of the Milky Way that’s downright stunning.
“Just as the bright city lights are vanishing behind us, the Milky Way starts to become clearly visible,” Wick writes on his website. “It’s now us, pacing at almost the speed of sound along the invisible highway and the pitch-black night sky above this surreal landscape.”
