This Insane Funhouse Is America’s Adrenaline-Pumping Destination

If you’re one of those people who loved super trippy funhouses as a kid, you’re gonna die over this new explorable art installation. Known as the biggest funhouse in the United States, Meow Wolf offers the ultimate opportunity to experience some weird shit.

Located in Santa Fe, New Mexico (and coming to Las Vegas and Denver), Meow Wolf is 20,000 square feet of pure craziness. Thrillist reports that the funhouse, which was a former bowling alley, is for all ages and caters to both the mildly curious and the wildly adventurous.

Upon entering the funhouse, an AV screen in each room tells you a basic storyline. We can’t promise you’ll be able to remember every detail, considering that you’ll be going through astral projection rooms that involve tree trunks, spaceship cockpits and teleportation stations. Yeah, that’s a mouthful, and we honestly have to leave it at that.

The funhouse was created by over 130 artists from the southwest and it’s partially funded by Game of Thrones writer George R. R. Martin so the place is kickass, for sure. A ticket will cost you $18 to tour the huge building. You can stay all day, if you want. Attending a concert at its music venue will cost you extra.

The experience sounds like it’s totally out of this world. We’re not sure if we have the strength to go through the whole thing, though we’d try — that’s for sure.
