The World’s Highest Glass-Bottomed Floor Will Make You Feel Like You’re On Top Of The World
If you’re craving an adventure that takes you to new heights (literally), you should probably book a ticket to Seoul STAT. At 188 stories high, the city’s Lotte World Tower Observation Deck is the world’s tallest glass floor.
Situated in the fifth tallest building in the world, which has 123 floors plus the 1,640-foot high observation deck, the space offers 360-degree views of Seoul, as well as a heart-pounding view of the city directly below. Talk about a nightmare for anyone scared of heights.
The tower, which opened on April 3, took seven years and $3.6 billion to complete, but the wait was worth the hype. The building’s super fast elevator will get you to the observation deck in less than a minute. The tower’s also home to the highest swimming pool in the world.
There’s more than insane views at the tower. Shops, fine dining and a massive concert hall are on site. But the view is unforgettable, without a doubt.
