The edible cookie dough trend isn’t losing traction anytime soon, but with a growing demand for anything sweet comes healthier and cleaner options for you to get behind.

Thanks to small company Hiit Nutrition, we now have access to plant-based and vegan edible cookie dough. All of the cookie dough jars are gluten- and GMO-free with no peanuts, soy, corn or artificial ingredients of any kind.

The base of the edible cookie dough is made from whole ingredients like dates, quinoa, vanilla beans, cashews, sweet potatoes, oats and organic brown rice protein. You can eat all of the cookie dough you want and know that you’re not filling your body with crap.

Hiit Nutrition created a raw, edible cookie dough that can fuel your body and satisfy your sweet tooth without making you compromise on nutrition. According to the company’s site, the cookie dough has the macros of a nutrition bar — filled with fiber and protein — that’s all smashed together into cookie dough form. Genius.

The cookie dough seems like an ideal snack when you’re on the go or looking to satisfy your cravings in between a hike or a run. If you can actually fuel your body with edible cookie dough, why not?

Even if you’re fully committed to a New Year resolution or limited diet, chances are this plant-based snack will still fit the bill. We’re definitely intrigued.
